This is Amy + Jacky from Pressure Cook Recipes. How have you been? What have you been cooking? Being raised in families from the restaurant industry, we’re quite obsessed with delicious food and cooking. We’re big Sushi lovers (this is an understatement…hehe~). 5 years ago, we’re so grateful to be able to witness the historic live tuna auction at Tsukiji Fish Market. Just to make sure we could make it, we lined up from 3 am to 5:25 am with just 2 hours of sleep right after an 11-hour flight! A little crazy? Maybe. That was not it. We had this restaurant on our bucket list for 8 years. But they don’t take reservations! So, we quickly ran there right after the tuna auction, and lined up for another 4 hours standing on the streets at 6 am. We were not there to eat the most prestigious Michelin star feast, but 11 gorgeous pieces of sushi for breakfast! It’s still kinda crazy thinking back on our food adventures, but we definitely had no regrets with a big smile on our faces. Have you had any fun or memorable food stories or adventures?
