The other day, we went to pick up some packages from the Instant Pot company. As Jacky drove along a road we passed by hundreds of times over the years, a row of trees captivated my eyes. It might sound silly. At that moment, I was mesmerized by the leaves, painted with a beautiful shade of green. They weren’t extraordinary rare or exotic trees. But I couldn’t stop looking and praising how beautiful they are to Jacky. He was so tempted to look, but glad he kept his eyes on the road. hehe~ Then a thought came to mind. Every day, we’re surrounded by so much beauty & goodness. Sometimes, we begin to normalize the things that once wowed us, surprised us, or gave us joy. When was the last time you looked at the world like a little child? With big curious eyes filled with wonder & awe? Appreciate the little yellow flowers on the side of the road, take a deep soothing breath in the woods, or have a huge smile tasting ice cream… What's one thing that made you smile this week? Stay well & please take care~ :)
