This is Amy + Jacky from Pressure Cook Recipes. How was your week? What did you cook? Wow! I can’t believe I’m already writing our last newsletter of the decade! 2019 has definitely been a colorful year for us – 2 close family members have passed away, the ongoing situation in Hong Kong, our recent car accident… However, despite all this, we created lots of amazing memories with our close friends who are like brothers & sisters. We tried many yummy new cuisines (Persian, Ethiopian, Armenian, Ukrainian, Pakistani…). It was my first time travelling solo in Japan; spending precious time with loved ones in Hong Kong; meeting awesome new friends; watched some great movies & productions (super looking forward to Christopher Nolan’s Tenet!!)…and so many loving & sweet support from you! Thank you~ :) Yes, there have been a lot of tears & setbacks or things we don’t understand, but also many more laughter, fun times, growth, & heartwarming love. We’re simply grateful to be here with you - to share a little part of life together. I know some of you also had a tough year, please hang in there & don’t give up! It’s during our darkest moments that we must focus to see the light. As we enter a new decade, take courage to decide what you’re ready to leave behind in 2019, and what you need to carry forward into 2020.
