For the past month, experimenting with one of our Japanese favorites has been a joy as we watched the Shōgun TV Series.

Which transported us back to feudal Japan and immersed us in the world of daimyo and samurai. For sure brings back memories from “The Last Samurai”.

We’ve tested different ratios, ingredients, and cooking times to make sure the Egg Custard achieves a silky smooth texture.

Love how the custard and flavors delicately melt in the mouth. A simple yet delicious pleasure.
