Mom's Grilled Cheese Sandwich

- 2 slices thick cut white bread (Texas toast)
- ½ tablespoon (7g) unsalted butter
- 2 slices yellow cheddar cheese
- Salt to taste
Melt ½ tablespoon unsalted butter in a skillet over medium-low heat. Sprinkle salt over the butter to season. Place 2 slices of white bread on the skillet for a few minutes until golden brown.
Flip to the other side. Add 2 slices of cheddar cheese on the golden brown side of the bread. Stack the other slice of bread (golden brown side down) on top of the cheese slices.
Flip the whole grilled cheese sandwich when the underside is golden brown. Continue until both sides are golden brown.
