Lately, we’ve been experimenting with this Roasted Black Sesame Dessert (香滑芝麻糊). Crossing off another one of my favorite traditional Asian desserts many of you have requested! :) Growing up, my mom loves making this after dinner. This dessert brings back lots of memories of my mom and her heartwarming homecooked meals. Haven’t been able to physically see my parents for quite some time. So I’m dedicating this new recipe to my mom! Don’t tell her, but we kicked it up a notch from the traditional way with our own secret ingredients. hehe~ ;) It might not be the most appetizing looking dessert, but it's creamy smooth & deliciously wholesome to eat. If you haven't tried it before, this is kinda like a bowl of the black sesame fillings you find inside Mochi or Tangyuan. It's mildly sweet, nutty, with a rich roasted sesame aroma & taste. Enjoy~ What are some nostalgic desserts you ate growing up?
